Villa Carolina is located in the center of a centuries-old park which covers the area between Capriata d'Orba and Castelletto d'Orba; for over two hundred years it has preserved its romantic charm and the magical colors of its nature.

 

The Villa was a wedding gift for the noble Carolina of the Albrizzi marquises and, since the nineteenth century, it was elected as her country residence.

 

The golf club, founded in 1995, has two 18-hole courses since 2015, both championship courses.

 

 

THE “MARCHESA” COURSE :18 HOLES, PAR 72, MT 6274.

Designed by Cornish & Silva Inc. Golfcourses Architect, it is set in an area of over 110 hectares. The wood and river Albedosa make it challenging and fun. The course is located in a flat area with large spaces. Holes 10,11,12 constitute the Amen Corner of the Course, increasing the player’s concentration and leaving little space for mistakes.

“Paradiso” COURSE : 18 HOLES, PAR 72, MT 6075

Designed by architect Graham Cooke, the Paradiso course covers over 6075m.Th first 9 holes were inaugurated in 2006, while the second 9 holes were completed in 2014.The course differs from the La Marchesa Course because of its climbs and descents and it has more treacherous greens. Paradiso course is a very technical course and it requires great precision. It was also the location for the prestigious XIV Vialli and Mauro Foundation Golf Cup.

 

 

The exclusive Villa Carolina Resort is located within the Villa Carolina Golf Club to satisfy all the needs of golfers and non-golfers.

The rooms are all air conditioned and equipped with all comforts. They have free wi-fi and offer a splendid view of the green or the surrounding hills.

While golfers will be able to enjoy the 36 holes of the two courses (Paradiso and Marchesa) of the Golf Club Villa Carolina, the other guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the swimming pool (during the summer season), visit the castles and villages in the surrounding area, or visit the local wineries and/or distilleries.
