The History

Inaugurated in 1998, the golf course covers 110 hectares of hills, lakes, streams and a rich population of trees. The idea for a project of this magnitude developed after the positive results experienced by Golf Club Riasco in the early 90s. The latter was the result of the great passion for this sport shared by a group of friends, who have been dedicating all their resources to this location and to its constant growth. Over the years, the project has been developed both at social and sporting level, giving rise to major modernization works.

 

 

 

 

The Territory

Golf Colline del Gavi arises in Tassarolo, between Piedmont and Liguria regions, in the heart of the Gavi hills, where the well-known Gavi white wine is produced and from which it takes its name. Surrounded by nature, among fascinating vineyards and other natural and artistic beauties, it is the ultimate place for whoever wants to fully enjoy their free time.

 

How to reach us

The golf club is easily accessible from several points: it is located in the centre of the old industrial triangle and very close to its verticles: Milan, Turin and Genoa. The Golf Club finds itself in a strategic position: it is in the centre of the Gavi hills and, at the same time, it is convenient to reach from the highway. Moreover, along the way, you are able to find road signs that will guide you here.

 

 

The Golf Club

The itinerary has been conceived not only to promote a smooth gaming, but also to challenge the most experienced players. Indeed, the natural obstacles make it diverse and require a continuous change of stategy. Thanks to the renovation works, the Golf Club now boasts 27 golf holes, divided into 3 courses: Yellow “Lago”, Blue “Castello” and Red “Old Course”. The holes of the championship course require a high technical level and follow a natural development, taking advantage of the gentle ups and downs and the morphology of the land among woods, hills, courses and ponds. For the less experienced, on a drivimg range, it is possible to experience the golf emotions with the help of our golf instructors. Over the years, the modernization works have made it possible to expand the accomodation capacity of the place, both for golfers and for those who choose this destination to explore or relax in the surrounding countryside.

 

 

The Guest House

Built just some years ago, the guesthouse offers 11 comfortable and modern rooms. You can choose among 6 Classics, 4 Superiors and one Suite with a large terrace. Rooms are spacious and bright: they all have large windows, parquet floors and wooden beamed ceilings which give the whole a rustic touch.

 

“La Locanda” Restaurant

Our restaurant is open to everyone and offers a wide range of meals prepared with typical local products. Our specialities include agricultural products prepared with passion and great skill by our chef. At the end of your golf day, at La Locanda you can taste some local specialities: seasonal delicacies such as mushrooms or truffles, accompanied by local and Piedmontese wines.

 

 

Experiences

Places of historical interest and unmissable food and wine itineraries frame the golf course. The proximity of the Serravalle Outlet allows our guests to live a unique shopping experience dedicated to famous luxury brands. Within a radius of 10 km from the facility, there are several wine cellars where people can taste the prestigious wines, accompanied by platters of typical products, so as to vary the daily programme of the stay, enriching the cultural and experiential baggage of the holiday.
